Halloween Costumes

I thought it would be fun to take a trip down memory lane and revisit some of our family's past Halloween costumes...it was fun for me to go find all these pictures and reminisce.

This is before we had kids and after we had been married for just over a year. I was pregnant with my oldest. My cousin and his wife had a party and we decided to go as Napoleon Dynamite and Deb...
Napoleon Dynamite...what a classic. :)

The next year we decided to be a cowboy and cowgirl with our little six-month-old horse.

The year after that my little guy was a ninja, so mommy was a ninja with him.

The next year we had a two-year-old bee with a five-month-old flower...
I love this picture. I just want to climb inside it and squish my little girl's cheeks.

Daddy was a beekeeper that year as well...

The next year my oldest clearly stated that he did NOT want to wear a costume. So we stuck his lobster t-shirt on him and all dressed up as a family of pirates. He was more than happy to carry around the pirate sword for us.

The next year I was extremely pregnant with my third...

So my husband thought it would be fun to be me. :)
I think my tummy was a little heavier than his. Just a little.

The year after that we had Batman, a horse again (poor third kid gets to repeat his brother's costumes), and a princess...

I was a cowgirl again with my little horse...

The following year we had Cinderella, a ninja (see, repeat) but that was OK because older brother wanted to be a ninja again too.

And last year was Darth Vader, a butterfly fairy, and a bee...

It has been a couple years since my husband and I dressed up, so we are planning some fun costumes this year to wear at our church's Fall Festival party. I am excited to dress up again. Halloween is such a fun time of year!

Thanks for taking a little stroll down memory lane with me. :)
